"Decatur's Best BBQ!"
Grandpa Kundz emigrated from Bavaria in the late 19th century, bringing with him his famous bratwurst sausage recipe. Settling in Michigan, he became rather portly, and was fondly referred to as "Chubby Kundz" by the townsfolk, many of whom relished his sausage. He continued the tradition of purveying his sausage in the kitchens of the town's womenfolk until abruptly moving to Alabama in the early 1910's.

though as he doesn't look porcine enough, although it could
have been a "slimming" portrait to reduce his outward corpulency.
We're not sure why he upped sticks and left Michigan, but rumor has it he'd provided a sausage too far and had outstayed his welcome.
Having a square head and a heavy accent, Grandpa didn't initially fit in with the southern locals, and he longed to do so. He decided to take a twist on his sausage recipe and started to BBQ them and branched into squirrel and groundhog.
Today, we carry on his legacy just across the border in Atlanta, GA, although squirrel is off the menu and we provision both genders on the kitchen table. Come and drool over a slathered piece of former animal - soon available at a storefront near you, or for order online at some point (to be determined).
